1711 - Col. Henry Darnall dies and wills most of his real estate to his son, Henry Darnall, II. By the 1720’s the latter was experiencing serious financial difficulties, and in the period from 1727 to 1730 he liquidated much of his property (eventually 6,700 acres of His Lordship’s Kindness, which Darnall disposed of, returned to the possession of the Calverts).
